Nice symmetry, isn't it?
This match was a lot more important than their Australian Open semi, in a way. Winning it would have made Novak the No. 1 just after the French Open, and he also could've tied John McEnroe's record for best season opening win streak. But the thing that makes this match my worst tennis memory is the fact that I was actually there in the stadium, witnessing it live, and being one of the only people cheering for Novak.
